IDEE

Europe, my personal influence and inspiration, has been a constant companion since my childhood

Born in Paris and educated at a German school, I learned early on to see cultural diversity not as a source of division, but as an enrichment. This experience has sharpened my awareness of borders, languages, and the wealth that arises when differences flow into a common whole

I have also always lived this European ideal in my publishing work with Mein Geld Medien, which has been one of the leading business publications in the German-speaking world for over 20 years. Working with international financial institutions, insurers, and investors has shown me that diversity is not a challenge, but a source of strength, exchange, and innovation.

“Music is Europe's common language – and our youth is its strongest voice.”

At the same time, I have had a second passion since my youth — classical music. As an amateur pianist, it has always been a source of strength for me: a place of inspiration, relaxation, and creative energy. This connection between European thought and music gave rise to the initiative to launch a series of events called “La musique vue du ciel.”

This will also be the case on June 28, 2026, at the Konzerthaus Berlin. Under the patronage of Ms. Anke Sommer, who has been supporting Jugend musiziert for many years, we will continue what began in the Dordogne in the summer: an exchange in which young talents from different countries make music together, bringing the European idea to life.

Jeunesse Musicale Européenne is thus more than just a concert series. It is a project for the future—supported by the youth of Europe, who use their art to highlight the value of our shared culture and pass it on as a legacy to future generations.
