Kašubaitė

Klėja (born April 10, 2010) and Kaja Kašubaitė (born December 18, 2008) are the youngest Lithuanian women to have made their debut at the Berlin Philharmonic, the Konzerthaus Berlin, and Carnegie Hall (New York). They have been living in Berlin since August 2022, studying at the Metropolitan International School and as junior students at the UdK/Julius Stern Institute with Prof. Markus Groh and Prof. Sabine Simon. They represent the UdK at prestigious events and have received awards at the national competition “Jugend musiziert” and from music foundations such as the Rotary Club Berlin ‘Luftbrücke’ and the German foundation “Musikleben.”
Both have received scholarships and prizes from various foundations and piano manufacturers and are members of the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation LIVE MUSIC NOW and academicians of the International Music Academy.
They regularly improve their skills at the KLAIPEDA PIANO MASTERS Academy, have won several awards, and received the G. Henle Verlag Prize in 2025. The sisters have won international competitions and numerous prizes in solo and duo categories, including 14 Grand Prix and 77 first prizes (solo) as well as 11 Grand Prix and 26 first prizes (duo). Due to their father's profession, they live all over the world; from 2018 to February 2022 in Kiev, Ukraine, where they were honored for artistic achievements.
Klėja was a scholarship holder of the Mstislav Rostropovich Foundation, and both were honored with the Christofor Prize of the City of Vilnius.
As soloists, they have performed with six orchestras and at international music festivals, playing in renowned concert halls such as the Konzerthaus Berlin, the Berlin and Hamburg Philharmonic Halls, and Carnegie Hall in New
York. In March 2024, they played a concert in Berlin to mark Lithuanian Independence Day. In 2025, they were invited as Young Artists in Residence at Weissenbrunn Castle, where they gave concerts and shot a music film.
